Support and advice for patients with Persistent MSK Pain
In many cases, MSK symptoms will settle down over time, but some people can experience pain which lasts much longer. This is called ‘persistent pain’. We know that many factors can affect persistent pain. These include lack of exercise, poor nutrition, smoking, stress and anxiety levels, avoiding movements, previous experiences of pain, and what we believe about our pain. Persistent pain can affect both your physical and mental wellbeing, and it is important to know what you can do to help manage persistent pain. Use the links below to find out more.
